This page explains who writes toridon.online, how we check facts, how we make money, and what we will never do to earn it.

Who writes the content

Articles are written and edited by Michael Johnson, who is responsible for the content of the site on behalf of the publisher, DEKLEON s.r.o.. Every article shows its author and the date it was published and last reviewed.

How we establish and source facts

• Official sources first. For game mechanics, platforms, prices and modes we rely on Wargaming's official website, its patch notes and the Wargaming Wiki.
• Secondary sources are labelled as such. Encyclopaedias and press coverage are used for background, such as release history, and never as the only source for a mechanic or a number.
• We hedge what we cannot verify. If we cannot confirm a figure, such as a current player count, we do not publish it. If a detail varies between vehicles or updates, we say so.
• We cite our sources at the end of each article.
• Official information prevails. Games change. If our content differs from the publisher's official information, the official information applies, and we will correct ours.

How the site is funded

toridon.online is funded by affiliate commissions. Some links are partner links that pass through a partner network to the game's official website. If you register or make a purchase after following one, DEKLEON s.r.o. may receive a commission from the partner. You pay the same price.

We disclose this in three places: in a bar at the top of every page, in a box directly under the headline of every article that contains partner links, and under every partner-link button, each of which is labelled “Partner link”. Partner links carry rel="sponsored" so search engines know they are commercial.

We do not run display advertising, analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not sell data. See our privacy policy.

What we refuse to do

• Fake testimonials. No invented “reader stories”, quotes or user reviews.
• Invented ratings. No star ratings, scores or rankings that are not based on a method we describe.
• Artificial urgency. No countdown timers, “only today” claims, fake scarcity or pressure tactics.
• Guaranteed-result claims. We never promise wins, rewards, earnings or free in-game currency.
• Invented facts. No made-up statistics, specifications or player numbers.
• Impersonation. We do not present ourselves as the game publisher or use its branding as our own.

Advertiser independence

Advertisers and affiliate partners do not write, review or approve our articles before publication, and they cannot buy a positive assessment. Commission rates do not decide what we write. We describe the drawbacks of the game, for example its learning curve and in-game shop, as plainly as its strengths.

Corrections procedure

1. Email info@toridon.online with the page address, the statement you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source.
2. We review every report against official sources.
3. If we got something wrong, we correct the article and add a dated note in its “Corrections” section describing what changed. We do not silently rewrite substantive errors.
4. We reply to let you know the outcome.

Example: our beginner's guide lists the claims we corrected when we replaced an earlier promotional version of that page.

Illustrations

All illustrations and diagrams on toridon.online are original works made for this site. We do not use game screenshots, publisher artwork or stock photos.
